On 17th September, 2026, the Firm completes seventy years of practice.
It began in 1956, when Dr Z. O. Ososanya founded a practice under the name of Messrs Z. O. Ososanya & Co. It was the second indigenous accountancy firm in Nigeria, and over time it has grown to become one of the leading firms in the Country.
From Messrs Z. O. Ososanya & Co. to HLB
The Firm was restructured in August, 1998 and changed its corporate name to HLB Z. O. Ososanya & Co., becoming a member of HLB International — a world-wide organisation of professional accounting firms and business advisers. By virtue of that association, it is quite convenient for the Firm to handle jobs which cut across national boundaries.
Today the Firm practises from three offices: the head office at Gloria House in Oluyole Estate, Ibadan, and offices in Lagos and Abuja.
Seventy years
Seventy years is a long time in any business. In this one it means something particular: that generations of clients have relied on an opinion signed by this Firm, and that the Firm has been here to sign the next one.
